The Hike

Once, I was going on a trail with my grandparents, my brothers, and my mom, and we accidentally missed the trail, and started going up a hill. After a while, we noticed that we aren't on the trail, but it was too late. We saw a big storm cloud coming to us, so we decided to run to the mountain lifter carts, to get back home as quick as we can. As soon as we got into the lifts, it started raining really hard, so we were really scared that the storm could hit the wire, that the carts were hanging on. I felt that the machine controlling the carts was making us go much faster, so the storm doesn't hit us. Daniel felt that the machine was making us go much slower than usual, so the cart does get struck by lightning.
